Daily Folder
Please check your child's red folder every night. In their folder you will find daily work, your child's behavior chart, important papers, and homework.
Change in Transportation
If you would like your child to go home a different way, you must send in a change of transportation form with your child. Notices via email cannot be accepted.
Friday Folders
Friday folders will go home every Friday and contain information for parents. Every 2 weeks, graded papers will go home in the Friday folder. Please check and sign the folder each week and return all graded papers.
Georgia Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (GKIDS)
GKIDS reports will be sent home in the fall, winter, and spring. The GKIDS report shows detailed information regarding your students social and academic performance over the Kindergarten standards.
Daily Snacks
Please send your child with a snack every day. The snack should be something healthy. Salty over sweet. Veggies and fruit are awesome.
Grading
Your child will receive daily grades in the following format:
S (Satisfactory) = 80-100
N (Needs Improvement) = 79-70
U (Unsatisfactory) = Below 70
Report cards are sent home every 9 weeks
Student Birthdays
If you would like to celebrate your student's birthday at lunch, treats can be purchased from the cafeteria. The cost is $20 and provides enough treats for the class. No treats from home or the store can be brought in.
